Back and spine pain can be very excruciating. At times it does not respond to any treatment. If conditions become severe spine surgery is the only option left with doctors. Surgery is recommended at least 2 to 6 months after all other options have exhausted. The usual back and spine surgery done by doctors include, Disectomy, a surgery done at the herniated disc in the vertebrae. Foramenotomy, is a surgery done to remove tissues that are compressing the nerves in the back. Laminectomy is used to remove bones that are affected in the spine. All of these help to relieve back pain immensely.
